Hunter Grain Pty Ltd was established in 1975 as a small domestic grain trading company in the upper Hunter Valley region of NSW, Australia. Business growth and expansion into international trading required the company’s relocation to Sydney.

In addition to domestic trading and logistics, Hunter Grain now specialises in niche areas of bulk grain and protein meal imports, exports, and third country trading. Hunter Grain is a leader in international quarantine practices and hasrecently been awarded both the Regional and National Quarantine Awards 2003 by the Australian Government for its contribution to the quarantine protection of Australia’s agricultural industries and unique environment.

Hunter Grain also runs major bulk custom storage and the associated bulk handling services including specialised bagging, palleting, fumigation, grading, container loading/unloading and weigh bridging.
